Graduation piece · 2026
The Last Summer
The close of shared years, set into a single graduation piece.

Guided by photographs and narrative, Ombra creates private artworks for people, relationships, and the moments that matter.
Ombra means shadow. Light fades; the trace remains.
A photograph keeps outline, expression, and posture; a narrative keeps relationship, time, and feeling. Ombra turns the two into a private work — to display, to collect, and to archive.

A true Ombra piece asks for more than likeness — the person's expression, the measure of a relationship, and the air particular to that moment.
Face shape, eyes, hairstyle, posture, and personal detail form a person's recognisability.
Graduation, wedding, family, and portrait each hold their own order of relationship. Gesture, distance, and composition set the emotional centre of the piece.
Ceramic resin, translucent surfaces, soft gold detail, and velvet packaging complete the piece's character through colour, sheen, and touch.
Digital sculpting sets the base form; refinement by hand calibrates expression, proportion, and detail. Every judgement returns to a person's eye.
Process
Submit photographs; write down the people, the relationship, and the moment.
From the narrative, the pose, proportion, material, atmosphere, and direction of the piece are set.
Face shape, expression, hairstyle, clothing, and relationship details are calibrated.
After sculpting, hand refinement, production, and inspection, the piece is numbered and delivered.
What to expect
Usually 4–8 weeks; the exact timeline depends on the number of figures and the complexity of production.
Before production begins, the direction, styling, and overall look are confirmed.
Photographs and finished pieces are shown publicly only with the client's consent.
Once the piece is finished, inspection, numbering, packaging, and delivery are arranged.
Commission a work for the people, relationships, and moments you cherish.
A single photograph can begin the work; the people, the relationship, and the narrative together decide its form.
The Ombra Archive
When a piece is finished, it enters the Ombra Archive. Its name, number, material, dimensions, occasion, and care notes together form its long-term record.
Real archive entries will be published as the first pieces are completed.
Once you share the first details, Ombra will confirm the story, the direction, and the commission arrangements with you.
A formal commission begins only after the first conversation.
